Where to buy LEGOŽ Trains

LEGOŽ Trains are getting increasingly hard to find in the US, for some reason they don't seem to be as popular as they are in Europe. In fact, for Christmas '96, there will only be one set found in US stores, #4559 Cargo Railway. You might find some old leftover stock in some stores but other than that you'll have to use the mailorder service.

So here is a list of places that regularly stock trains. At the moment this list is extremely short! I need help compiling this. If you know others please email me at train_depot@yahoo.com

The LEGO Group's own mail order service. Prices are about 10% more expensive than average retail but they don't charge anything for shipping and handling and you don't pay any tax unless you're unfortunate enough to live in Connecticut. They have all of the current range of trains. Known as S@H by its friends. Note that the telephone number spells 1-800-4LEGOLA which I guess is short for 1-800 for Legoland!

Tyrell and Green is a department store in the John Lewis chain and has an excellent toy department that stocks loads of LEGOŽ and LEGOŽ Trains. It's been a couple of years since I've been there but they have the best regular prices of anywhere I've ever been.
