A white battery box, as used in #6990. Also used in many other LEGOŽ sets, not just Monorail. Unfortunately, the red battery box used in #6399 has never been available as a spare part.
The battery box is 4 x 8 studs and 2 bricks, 1 plate high. It takes a standard 9V battery.
