The largest 9V LEGOŽ freight train to date, equipped with a big red and black diesel locomotive and three long flatbed wagons in matching colours. One wagon carries two cement mixers, one carries a container and a toolkit, and the other, a slightly longer wagon, carries three hoppers. The locomotive has working headlights (provided the train is moving).
Included is a freight loading station with two cranes. One crane has a grab for picking up bulk material (loose LEGOŽ pieces) and the other has a hook for picking up the freight items. Both cranes can reach wagons on the railway track, a waiting lorry or the weighing scales. Also, the grab crane can reach a loading hopper which is filled from above and can discharge its load into the lorry. The station is built on a grey road baseplate so that it can be connected up with the rest of your town.
The cranes can also be attached to the train so that they can be transported to a construction site, and then the train can unload itself!
This train set requires #4548 Transformer and Speed Regulator.
The instructions include photographs of many interesting models, 4 pages of them plus the underside of the box. I like the Steam Locomotive best and I've made step-by-step instructions for it.
