Working Headlights for #4559
Set #4559 High Speed Train Starter Set can easily
modified so that the headlights really work.
It's very easy, here's what you need:

Actually you don't need everthing in the #5310 set, just the light and
the 2x4 conducting plate, but this is the easiest way to get these pieces.
Modify the nose of the train as shown in the diagram above, which
is step 4 on page 3 of the
instructions, add the light brick between the two yellow L-shape pieces.
Replace the yellow 2x4 plate with the 2x4 conducting plate. Carry
on with the rest of the instructions.
When you get to step 9, note that you cannot push the nose piece on
from above because the bulb will get in the way. You need to slide
it on from the front. LEGOŽ has specially designed the nose
to do this because there is a gap in the plastic at the back so that
it can slide over the studs on either side.
