A futuristic light passenger train in black and yellow. This railway has the unusual feature that the passenger compartments are removable pods. Presumably this is to address the growing trend for people to live in suburbs many miles from the nearest railway station. With this system a small truck drives around the neighbourhoods and picks up the commuters in the pod on its back. Then the pod is transferred to the train at the loading ramp. These passengers must have a long commute though, two of the pods are sleeper cars and two are dining cars!
The train can also carry cargo containers and four are included, an Octan petrol tank, a money safe, a luggage crate and a mailbox.
Strictly speaking there is no alternate model in the instructions, i.e. no step by step instructions for another model are included, however there are 4 extra pages of photographs of alternate model possibilities.
